Missing her sissy

Sutton left to go back to college Sunday morning after four weeks at home. Her baby sister, familiar the past month with impromptu big sister tickles and snuggles, continues to go to the bottom of the stairs and cry out, "DUDDEN! DUDDEN!," hoping biggest sister will come bounding down to play.

Her toddler-sized disappointment is massive and palpable.

While a poor substitute, Mommy will have to do until Spring Break.

I really, really hear you. We recently sent our oldest two back to college, and it was a very sad household around here. They are SO missed. And the babies just really do not understand, do they?

I an a long time lurker, never commentor who came via Cindy B. a ages ago. I also am praying and hoping it is just busy times with little Peyton that is keeping you from blogging.
As an adoptive Mom to 6 and Nana to 5, soon to be 6, your stories bring instant cheer when you post. Many times, your posts help me re-gain my perspective and re-focus on what is most important. I am so thankful you share your faith.
How goes the back brace saga? Is Reagen still singing as well as working her heart(and body)out at volley-ball? Did Keaton essentially skip a grade at the begining of this school year.
Praying all is well, and sending warmest regards to all of you,
Sincerely,
Barbara

I, too, have been missing your posts. You ordered a personalized hat from me on eBay and I've been watching adorable little Peyton grow over the past year and a half. I can relate to so much of what you write. Praying everything is ok!

Just wanted to add my two cents and say that I've been missing your posts, too. We were pregnant together with Mae and Peyton and I always enjoyed seeing and reading about her (as well as all your other sweet kids). Hope you can update soon!
