It's time for curls, girls

My three older girls wore sponge rollers for years. I spent literally hundreds of hours rolling each little head night after night (rarely, if ever, skipping a night) until they were in elementary school, late elementary school.

Girls with curls...how I loved that.

Then the boys came and my curl drought began. Curls were replaced by baseball caps that, while easier, just didn't give me the same charge that those sweet ringlets evoked. I missed them.

So you can imagine my glee last night when I got to do this:

(His father was so proud.)

But then this morning she looked like this:

Yay! It's curl time again.

LOL! No eyelash curling here.

I've been waiting not-so-patiently for the time to come. And it was a little harder with my fine-haired daughter.
