Good riddance October

October,

Normally, I enjoy you with your cooler weather and fall colors; but I have to say that this year, you have been a very stressful month and we are so glad to see you go. You held four trips for Dad, several online classes, 13 volleyball matches, dance lessons each week, piano lessons each week, tae kwon do lessons twice a week, volleyball practice at 6:30am each morning for Reagan, volleyball six days a week for Sutton, football games, school projects, doctor's appointments, hair appointments, school parties, costumes, Halloween, two Fall Festivals and 14 kid parties (14?!!).

Oh, October, you disappointed me and frankly, you wore us all out. Now, while I still appreciate your weather and the beautiful colors, I am more than thrilled that a calmer, slower-paced November is upon us and we won't have to see you and your craziness again for another year.

Sincerely,
Devin and her weary family

I know! Isn't it crazy? One kid or 12...it's such a chaotic time of year.
